Jackson's View From the Couch...In the Car: SCF Edition

I have been totally distant from the Internet since Tuesday and didn’t even think about writing until I was harangued by some carnie at a carnival tonight about how the Predators suck and how Detroit is the best team ever. So he started talking about the SCF and then it hit me…I really need to go home for once and write something. So here I am ready to give my input on this rematch.

I’m going to kick it off with my picks. I picked Pittsburgh in seven games. Why? They may have lost Hossa and Malone in the off-season, but they looked like a totally different team in these playoffs. Detroit has looked good, but I honestly don’t think they are going to be able to keep up with Pittsburgh.

From what I’ve read, Lidstrom and Datsyuk should be able to play by the time game one comes around. That will definitely give the Wings that extra boost.

Penguins are not going to settle for watching another team lift the cup again, especially the team that beat them for it last year.

Well, there you have it, just a short little summary of my thoughts on the Stanley Cup Finals.

I wonder if they are going to start playing the Sidney Crosby “I never want to be in this photograph again.” Commercial again.

I apologize sincerely for not posting in a while. I got out of school last week and I’ve been having that “Oh it’s summer, I got to do something every night!” fever.
