The Morning After:
My 3 stars from last night:
1. Cristobal Huet (44 saves)
I don’t care if Chicago lost… Huet was the best player last night with 44 stops and clutch save after clutch save.
2. Chris Osgood (30 saves)
‘Ozzie’ wasn’t too far behind Huet.
3. Darren Helm (1 goal)
Helm was in the right place at the right time to bang home the series-clincher in OT. He also had 12 hits!
Unsung hero of the night:
Daniel Cleary… Cleary continued his great postseason with another tip-in goal. He played a good all-around game, and fired 6 shots at Huet.
‘RLD Game-Changing Performance’ of the night:
Darren Helm… Detroit brought a lot of pressure at the beginning of the overtime period. The puck finally went in as Helm scored the winner. Detroit moves 4 wins closer, and Chicago goes home…
