Bold Prediction: Not only will Luongo win the Vezina Trophy, but he’ll also be in the discussion for the Hart.
Team Overview: The Canucks still have a bad taste in their mouth after a Game 6 loss in Chicago eliminated them. GM Mike Gillis waited until the 11th hour to re-sign the Sedin twins. He would not have been able to sign two other forwards with the same chemistry. Gillis was also able to bring in veterans Mikael Samuelsson and Mathieu Schneider, who should jell with the team quickly. Another new face on the horizon is Cody Hodgson, their 1st round pick from 2008. This could be a special season in VanCity if Luongo plays like he wants a ring.
