1982 - St. Louis Blues traded Rick LaPointe to the Quebec Nordiques, in exchange for Pat Hickey.
1995 - Edmonton Oilers obtained Curtis Joseph and college forward Mike Grier from St. Louis, in exchange for first round draft picks in 1996 (Marty Reasoner) and 1997.
1999 - Edmonton signed free agent (and former Oiler) Bill Ranford.
2000 - New York Rangers acquired Sandy McCarthy from the Carolina Hurricanes, in exchange for Rob DiMaio and Darren Langdon.
