Anderson is making the Avs look really smart. Two consecutive great performances against two of the West’s best.
2. Alexander Semin, WSH (2 G, 1 A)
Washington’s other Alex notched 2 goals and 3 points in the 6-4 win over Toronto.
3. Carey Price, MTL (34 saves, 1 GA)
Price has been phenomenal in the first 2 games of the year. His 34-save performance last night was one of his best.
Dud of the Night:
Nikolai Khabibulin, EDM… This was an easy choice! Not only did he give up 4 goals on 21 shots, but the ‘Bulin Wall literally gave Calgary the GWG with just under a minute remaining.
