Today is a pretty special day for us at the RLD. I am proud to announce that I’ll be joining The Fourth Period this fall as their Nashville correspondent!
In case you are unaware of what The Fourth Period is, it’s one of the best hockey websites on the World Wide Web with a great magazine publication. They also have a stellar radio show along with video features at their site.
And you know what the best part is? They are still growing and improving the product. I am just one of a handful of writers making the jump to TFP, including our own Anthony Curatolo, whose main product is The Hockey Guys and NHL Hot Stove!
TFP is a unique production, as it’s not your regular publication like The Hockey News. TFP focuses more on the entertainment/lifestyle portion of the game of hockey instead of game reports and things of that nature.
I’ll be taking on the role of being their Nashville correspondent, contributing to their site on a near-weekly basis. I am looking forward to this new challenge, and would like to thank David Pagnotta and Dennis Bernstein (and the rest of the TFP team) for giving me this opportunity! I will start up in September.
With all of this being said, RLD Hockey will not change and I am not leaving; in fact, we’re seeking ways to make it better before October rolls around. We were privileged to be able to add Patrick Hoffman this month, who is a very talented writer that has contributed to many outlets. We've also teamed up with Yardbarker, which has definitely helped the site out a lot.
Once again, I’d like to thank TFP for this opportunity and I can’t wait to get started this fall!
