Season Series (09/10): 1-0 Blackhawks
Players to watch:
CHI- Duncan Keith
Keith has been hot lately, racking up 7 points in the last 3 games.
NYR- Ryan Callahan
Callahan’s two-way play has translated to 11 points in the early going.
CHI- Marty Turco (2010/11 stats: 6-2-1, 2.63 GAA)
NYR- Henrik Lundqvist (2010/11 stats: 4-3-1, 2.76 GAA)
CHI- Marian Hossa (upper body, out), Brian Campbell (knee, probable), Dave Bolland (ribs, questionable)
NYR- Marian Gaborik (shoulder, out), Chris Drury (finger, out), Vinny Prospal (knee, out)
These two Original Six clubs face off for the first and only time this season tonight at the Garden. It will certainly be an interesting game. The Rangers are coming off a nice win in Toronto, but have struggled at home. Meanwhile, Chicago has been inconsistent over the last couple weeks. The ‘Hawks haven’t won in Manhattan since 2002, and this will be their fourth game in six days. If Lundqvist plays like he did on Saturday, they’ll get another win.
Prediction: Rangers 3, Blackhawks 2
The rest of tonight’s predictions:
Flyers over Hurricanes
Canucks over Devils
