A no goal call that went against the Calgary Flames tonight swung the momentum in Anaheim's favor even further in the second period. On a weird sequence, the puck appeared to be across the line, but Toronto said there was not indisputable evidence. Down 2-1 at the time, Brent Sutter and company was irate. At the end of the period, Lubomir Visnovsky scored a back-breaking goal, which stood as the game-winner in the end, to make it 3-1.
Now, this call isn't the reason the Flames will miss the playoffs; they were behind the eight ball to begin with. It is still unfortunate for the Flames, who thought for sure they had tied the game. This 4-2 loss all but ends their hopes of making the postseason.
