Tonight’s slate:
Rangers @ Devils, 1:00 ET, Game 4

#1 New York Rangers @ #6 New Jersey Devils
Game 4… 8:00 ET… TV: NBC Sports Network, CBC

Series: 2-1 Rangers

Players to watch:
NYR-    Chris Kreider
Every game that passes seems like another opportunity for the evolving Kreider. Seldom used in the Capitals series, the rookie is getting back into a rhythm against the Devils. It also helps that the Rangers are 4-1 in games he scored a goal.
NJD-    Adam Henrique
In Pete DeBoer's latest act of line juggling, Henrique finds himself on the top line between Kovalchuk and Elias. The Calder Trophy finalist registered only one assist in this series and really could help spark the Devils lineup. Remember it was Henrique that scored the series-deciding goal against the Panthers.

Projected starting goaltenders:
NYR-    Henrik Lundqvist (Playoff stats: 10-7, 1.57 GAA)
NJD-    Martin Brodeur (Playoff stats: 9-5, 2.05 GAA)

Injury report:
NYR-    Mats Zuccarello (wrist, out), Brandon Dubinsky (lower body, out), Michael Sauer (concussion, out)
NJD-    Henrik Tallinder (blood clot, out)

Game thoughts:
For the second time in three games, the Rangers pulled a fast one on the Devils. Their energy in Game 3 seemed to be better, as coach John Tortorella prevented a flat start. However, they still looked tired. Due to their tight defense and a couple of lucky bounces they kept the game close and pounced in the third period.

If the Devils want to get back into this series, they need to win this crucial Game 4. Top guns like Zach Parise, Adam Henrique, Patrik Elias, and Travis Zajac have been snake bitten through three games-- a trend that won't continue. Expect the Devils to break Lundqvist's shutout streak tonight.

However, it remains to be seen exactly who will win this series. Every game has been much closer than the score with both fan bases watching from the edge of their seat. My hunch is the Devils tie the series since the Rangers are adverse to going up two games in a series.
Prediction: Devils 2, Rangers 1
