Another game, another overtime hero for the Los Angeles Kings.
Tonight it was Jeff Carter, who scored 13:42 into overtime to give the Kings a 2-1 win in tonight's Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. With Carter's game-winning tally, not only have the Kings taken a 2-0 series lead over the Devils but they have extended their astonishing playoff road record to 10-0.
Before tonight, the Kings had won their previous two games in overtime; Anze Kopitar and Dustin Penner were the overtime heroes then. Now the Kings are going back home with all the momentum, while the Devils are squarely behind the eight ball.
